1. Monthly closure of accounts in a timely manner and preparation of Management accounts
2. Ensures compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation and recommending opportunities to strengthen the internal control structure.
3. Completes audit work papers and memorandums by documenting audit tests and findings.
4. Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation
5. Advises the HOD on the current company’s compliance with laws and regulations through elaborated reports.
6. Supervise the tax planning initiatives to minimize organizations overall tax liability.
7. Detect and prevent fraud
8. Ensure all statutory compliance timelines are being met and adequate backup of accounting data is maintained.
Liaise with External auditors for timely completion of Audits
