Job Description

1. Sourcing and Supplier Management:

- Identify potential suppliers of pharmaceutical products through market research and networking.

- Evaluate supplier capabilities, product quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.

2. Negotiation:

- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers while maintaining quality standards.

3. Purchase Order Processing:

- Prepare purchase orders based on approved requisitions and ensure accurate documentation.

- Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

4. Inventory Management:

- Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels of pharmaceutical products.

- Ensure appropriate stock rotation to minimize wastage and product expiration.

5. Quality Assurance:

- Work closely with quality control and regulatory teams to ensure purchased pharmaceutical products meet regulatory standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in procurement within the pharmaceutical industry.

- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry regulations, and quality standards.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
